wonderful symphony

The first symphony orchestra concert i have ever been was a wonderful cherishing moment for me. That was just last Saturday weekend as well back in my Holland holidays. I was with my godfather at a small local church nearby The Hauge.

Today Saturday connects to that special moment. I was with my family here back home and have just been to a launching concert of our local Cebu Symphony Orchestra. Which also makes it special since the benefits of the said concert would go for the homeless children. And it's my time to catch up with my family after a long holiday away from them. An ice cream treat for everyone after we got home and skype talk to my other sister across the globe, makes the whole symphony of life a wonderful one. :)

no place like home

Back home from an amazingly wonderful holidays in Holland and glad to be with my family again.

Long but safe safe travels on way home.
So blessed and grateful for such once in lifetime experience.
With so much great memories from my 24 days of Dutch adventure that needs to be treasured
as well on my scrapbook.

Now i have to say. Even if you have a great time for a holiday far across the globe.. Still there's no place like home i guess.

And am all ready for the Christmas holidays with my family @ home. :)

Others have to find or create them.

celebrating Sinterklaas

Today is another wonderful day that am truly grateful for. I was part of a very important celebration for the Dutch, Sinterklaas". ~ And that is celebrating it with my godfather's whole family. It's something so special indeed.  It's not just literally exchanging gifts (probably) like we do in Christmas. I have seen all the hard work each would put into making it special & creative as they can and to bring humor and the element of surprise. With all the preparations with dedication each and everyone take time to put into. And i did my part as well..which i am glad it went well! It's something very Dutch experience indeed. Above all, the significance and meaning of it is just so amazing for me.

The sweet treats & will the chocolate letter with the recipients initial ~ and that's M for me.. :)
Letters in poem from Sint Nicolaas
And the overwhelming surprises and gifts..

Am so much blessed to be with such wonderful family and being able to take part such important event with them. Another special moment to treasure in my last days of Dutch Adventures.  :)

with Vincent

@ the Kroller -Muller museum in the middle part of Holland. Home of 24 masterpieces of Vincent van Gogh and modern art.

I took the advantage of there rules allowing visitors to take pictures of the painting only w/o flash. Regardless i was overwhelmed with happiness. So ever grateful again for this once in a lifetime experience here in NL. A dream come true as an artist. I was with Vincent Van Gogh.. :)

P.S. I love you
